Do you look forward to payday?
You are about to get paid. Do you count down the days until you get your money? What do you look like on your payday? Are you sad, because you are thinking about all the bills you have to pay? Do you smile, because this month you will actually have money left over to do something special? Do you look forward to your payday, because you are happy to just be getting money? You may not know what is going on with your money and if that is the case, you may need a twisted budget rescue, before your next payday. First, let’s look at this word and why is it one of the most important dates on our calendar.

Payday means the regular and recurring established day for payment of Compensation to an Employee of the Company or any Designated Subsidiary or, in the case of any cash bonuses and other cash incentive-type payments, any other payment date established by the Company with respect to such amounts. This pay represent your hard work. It represents getting up when that alarm clock goes off. Getting that morning shower and braving the traffic to get to your destination. It represents sitting or standing in a meeting you wanted to miss, but decided to attend, only arriving a few minutes before your supervisor.
It represents the drive home in a different pride of traffic, the dinner, homework yours or your children, shower to end the day and maybe an hour or two of relaxation.
Aaaahh payday!!!
Now before we get too relaxed and start trying to spend money that has not yet reached our bank account, let’s look at our pay in a different way..
A payday isn’t jut to pay you, it is also others payday. Yes, your payday is also the local and online markets’ payday. What do I mean? Your money affects you and it affects the businesses you must pay for their services. The grocery stores and restaurants look forward to your paydays. Their businesses depend on you, so rest assured the stores will have sales and marked down prices ready for you to stop by and browse through. A quick stop at the cash register or the online cart check out, allows your payday to be shared by others.
Your buying and spending helps keep the economy going. I know you probably don’t think of the contribution you make to the economy when you are buying those new shoes, cap or car, but you are included in one of the dashes on the national product chart.
In the time of good economic growth, your pay is suppose to help you purchase what you need to live a comfortable lifestyle. Your idea of comfort may be different from someone else’s, but you determine what you want. When the economy isn’t good, your money is even more precious and should be handled with more care. When times are strained, knowing how to hold on to your pay, is vital to you surviving the tough times.
Remember, you payday is important to you and to the businesses that rely on you shopping their stores.
Go from Incomplete to Complete
Where is your money now? Do you know what you account balance is at the moment?
You may not know what is going on with your money do a lot of transactions, you may not know exactly how much you have, but you should have a general idea or in the neighborhood of how much. However, if you have a budget that doesn’t see much action, then you should know exactly how much you have in your account. Don’t be Tacky
You may not know what is going on with your money know someone who budgets and know what is going on with their account, don’t throw her or him a nasty look or whisper under your breath a mean comment. There is no reason for you to be tacky, throw shade or be envious.
Find out what they are doing and see if their method will help you. Maintaining a budget shouldn’t be a headache and it shouldn’t make you grumpy or a pain to be around.
Now just because you do not want to take the time to get your money together, doesn’t mean you go out and spend, spend and spend. No, no, no! It is best if you try to curb some of your spending frenzy to and try to put aside some of your pay.
Are people still couponing?
Look around and you well see many people trying to stay on their budgets. If this wasn’t true, why do you think the value menus are at the restaurants, punch cards for various items, coffee shops, sale discount and coupons are on the rise? The increase is obvious in the stores and online.
Throwing payday shade at someone who knows their financial status is being tacky. Don’t be the person that is so low down that you criticize instead of finding out how they are doing what you need to be doing to keep up with your money.
No one likes being negatively talked about or made fun of because of something they believe in, trying new or doing something different. You may not know what is going on with your money are not sure about think you know more about what they are doing, offer information not nasty comments, if not be quiet.
Just because you don’t do it or even understand how it is done, it doesn’t mean you are using your pay wisely.
